Florida is hot..but not as hot as the cheese on pizza
Ok, I realize that everyplace is hot, and I guess we are lucky because we have an ocean and a breeze...I guess I shouldn't be complaining, but everyone else is. it is even hot in the air conditioned building I currently work in. anyway, everything at work is great. I am learning a lot everyday and i am going out for some training classes later this year hopefully so that will be exciting.
We went to another Dr.s apt. on Monday, but we didn't get an ultrasound. They put it off until the day after Labor day because we will then be 20-21 weeks along, and halfway through the pregnancy. We will then find out the sex of the baby so we can start spending all out money buying oh so cute and gotta have thatsems and oh my gosh we have to eat Ramen noodles because we are brokeses now.. man, lab fees are expensive too.. they creep up on you when you are not paying for the supreme insurance at work, just the basic. Oh well.. I think we are having a boy because the heart beat is slower than I have heard other heart beats are when the baby is a girl. I don't know if that is for real a sign of sex, but it is fun to guess anyways..
I have been saving up for a Nikon d40 and was almost at the goal when I realized that buying a $600 camera right now seemed selfish especially when it isn't small enough to carry everywhere and I will only pull it out when it is convenient so there will be less pictures.. so I bought a Sony Point and shoot. I wanted the Nikon with the WiFi built in to upload directly to flickr and with the 3" screen, but it was $100 more than the Sony and the iso rating was half. plus the sony takes video in mpeg format which is easier to deal with than the AVI format of prior cameras that I have owned. So we saved money and bought a nice camera with a 3 year warranty so it will last a while. I am overall very pleased with my decision so expect more pics to come. I have no pics right now yet though, I just bought it yesterday.
Oh new Ilife Rocks.. I am making a new website for us to use instead of my boring one.
