DAY 4 feels like 40

I am having a good time really. I talk like this is so tiring, and it is... but it is fun to flood myself with computer knowledge.. I do have other things on my mind, but my whole focus is computers. I have 3 virtual machines running on this laptop and 3 running at the machine at school and I can test different scenarios from the practice tests on them, AND I am the network administrator of brianedison.com!!! or gk.local at school... here is a screen shot of my desktop in expose.




I have been eating goldfish and drinking diet pepsi to keep awake through all the cramming.. I feel little bumps on my head where the knowledge is trying to come out, but I won't let it... I have my big test tomorrow, and if I can pass it I will be so happy.. I have a makeup day for any of them, but I would rather not use it for this one. I only want to take it once.

Audrey is doing well, and I talk to her everyday when something good or bad happens, when I feel discouraged or happy...I can't wait to come home for that reason. Plus I will get to hang out with here, I have been studying every night and not spending that much time with her. We are in our 28th week so only about 12 more to go!!!

I will blog tomorrow again. sorry for no updates on results, I don't want anyone to rag or brag yet.

official day 3

It is going.. it is what it is says Vince. Secret Squirrel on the results of all tests..
I am going over the second test and it is tough, I took a break to shave and blog. I cloned my brain for the night so I could study more..



I studied less taking that picture. I am doing well with a little sleep and it is helping that I wake up, shower and study before school too. today before taking the test, I clicked on the wrong person in the test program so I had to move to a different workstation. I was nervous...

The shower here is HORRIBLE.. words cannot describe.. I want to move to the Holiday Inn so I can shower under the Kohler.

Next test is on Friday. Oh Boy!

Day 2 of MCSE

I have been taking practice tests and studying what I find difficult. this is what I know so far:

I am a network administrator for contoso.com
I have 3 servers sunning windows server 2003
I have an Active Directory Schema
I have 50 users in Chicago and 50 in Denver


Like every question is a variation of that.

Brainwashing

I will believe I am a network engineer in charge of my own domain at the end of this.

Oh, how do I feel??? well wake up at 6:30 and go to bed at 12:30. Study the whole day and I feel like this....

Day one of the MCSE

This is my first morning, I am about to go down to breakfast. I downloaded transender tests last night and went through a lot of the first test we will be going over. It is all about Windows XP, I think I will do well on it, we will see. We also downloaded Vista last night, Vince did. I will install that when that test draws near. Wish me luck, this is intense, I hope I can blog about it everyday.
